Community links

We are establishing more postive links with our local community.

During the past two years we have established links with Knottingley United Reformed Church and Mr John Wadsworth from the church comes into school to lead assemblies for us.

We have also distributed harvest produce and sung carols at Holyrood Care home.

Moto service station supports us with donations of books regularly and we are always really appreciative of these. One of our children recently won a competition at the service station for a wonderful prize. See the picture below. They are also going to support our swap shop.

Good Neighbour News magazine has already supported our swap shop with a kind donation towards prizes and we were featured in their magazine.

Our foundation stage has established links with Sainsbury's supermarket and are developing a reading programme with them. See the pictures below.

We also have well established links with the local rotary club. Each year they distribute dictionaries to our year 6 children.
